Our mortar made of thick-walled hard-burned porcelain stoneware is intended for crushing, mixing and grinding of spices, herbs and other cooking ingredients. The inside is not glazed and the exterior is decorated with the appropriate décor. The vessel has a height of 6.9 cm and a diameter of 14.1 cm without grommet. The pestle is well in the hand and is of course also made of hard stoneware on the handle transparent glazed and not glazed at the head with a height of 13.2 cm and a head diameter of 3.2 cm.
Our stoneware, which is burned at 1,250 °c, is dishwasher-proof, microwave-resistant, edge-proof and oven safe-resistant. Of course, our ceramics are manufactured in Germany and everything is lovingly hand-painted.
Even after prolonged use, our ceramic tableware, whether cup, plate or teapot, will not get any hairline cracks.
